A BIT ABOUT OUR FAMILY
Gould Radiators was established in 1964, when Mike Gould started a company to repair vehicle radiators. Mike expanded the business activities and in 1974 the manufacture of number plates was introduced. Steady growth was achieved by maintaining a high level of service, quality products and competitive pricing. Today, as Gould Autoplates & Signs, not only are we one of the largest number plate suppliers in the UK, Gould’s have also expanded into the number plate market in Europe and Asia.
In 1986 the company took the opportunity to form a new division, ‘Gould Autoplates & Signs Ltd.’ Specializing in the production of external and internal signs, vehicle liveries, banners, window graphics and many other applications of vinyl, steel and acrylic substrates. As well as supplying and fitting to a large and established customer base in the South West, Gould’s now supply to a vast variety of nationwide customers too!
After many years of expansion and development, we out grew our Bristol offices and had to look for a new home. Not only did we need somewhere that could handle the many large deliveries and collections that were becoming part of the daily routine, we also required larger storage areas too. So with this in mind, in 2001, we relocated the whole business to our new home in Nailsea. We are located on the South West side of Bristol with excellent links to the M4 & M5 motorways, 5 minutes drive from Bristol airport and a 10 minute drive to Bristol City centre
